After rolling out of bed at the late hour of eight o'clock, the Pelican warriors stormed the breakfast table for some eggs and delicious yet spicy pastries.  We hopped on the bus and made the short trek over to Under Fire Paintball in Coronado.   Strapping on our military-style armor, we loaded our barrels, cocked our guns, and headed out to the jungle of a battlefield.  The first round of capture the flag began with both Coach Murphy and Coach Bour charging blindly towards the center of the field and quickly being shot numerous times.  Their piercing cries of agony were music to the opposing players' ears.  After three more rounds of paint-splattering fun, we left with welted bodies and sore feet.  After a quick stop at the supermarket, we stopped for some Costa Rican cuisine at a local restaurant call ed El Molino.  The tortillas and Gallo Pinto were both fulfilling and culturally enriching. After finishing our meals, we took a walking tour of central Coronado in which we saw numerous shops and visited the church seen above.  The Pelicans arrived back at the hotel at around 4 o'clock and got a solid training session in.  All in all, it was a day filled with fun and camaraderie.
