Greetings from Costa Rica! Or Hola as said in the native tongue.  The group began at the early hour of 6:45am local time, with little excitement or emotion.  Breakfast was eaten in silence, as each player slowly emerged from their respective cocoons. The meal energized the boys for a full day of rousing activities at Jaco Beach Club Blu.  The tardiness of the coach bus allowed the players’ excitement to rise by the second.  As soon as it arrived, we rushed to the bus to claim seats.  The ride was fairly smooth up until our first stop at a river that could be mistaken for the Nile.  As we filed out (single file, of course) our eyes began to feast on the lovely site of crocodiles.  The immense size of the crocodiles, as well as their posture, proved our previous theory of them being lazy. To be frank, we do not fancy a day of lounging on a river shore with a creature like that.  So on we journeyed back to the bus.  Next stop: Jaco Beach Club Blu.  Upon arriving we were greeted by the strict instruction that our water bottles were not allowed.  We proceeded to our reserved couches and indulged ourselves in free popcorn.  The boys could not resist the sound of the crashing waves and hastily sprinted for them.  Body surfing was the choice of many, but a few daring souls ventured to the surfing rental shop.  The freshman phenom Aaron Dang proved he was not only a soccer master, but also a surfing pro.  The side was joined by their two lovely coaches who went on to claim that they witnessed a tuna surfing through the waves.  Their lives flashed before their eyes.  After swimming we all enjoyed a long wait for lunch, but the showing of the Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich Champions League match helped ease the wait.  After lunch the boys divided amongst themselves and did various activities.
